Policies and Payment Information
Prices
Individual Sessions:
Hour long individual tutoring sessions are $50 for online and in-person sessions. For in-person sessions, an agreed upon additional cost may be added when appropriate for long travel times.
Small Group Sessions:
Discounts are available for small group sessions. For 2-3 students in a group, the rate is $25 per student for 1 hour session. For 4-5 Students in a group, the rate is $20 per student. Note, small groups must be organized by the students themselves, and are not organized by the tutoring staff.
Package Deals:
For the purchase of 10 sessions or more, I offer a 20% discount. For example, an individual who would like once weekly help over the course of a 12 week class who purchases all 12 sessions at the beginning of the class would only pay $40 per session instead of the usual $50.
Payment
Payments are processed using Venmo or Zelle. Once a session is booked, we will exchange payment information, and the payment will be sent at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session if the session is booked a day or more ahead. Payment will be sent immediately after booking a session for sessions booked the day of.
Policies
Cancellation Policy:
Sessions that are cancelled by the client with less than 24 hours notice will be assessed a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost. For sessions that are cancelled by the tutor for whatever reason, the client will be refunded the entire cost of the session and will be further credited with a free 1 hour session for a future time.
Referrals Discount:
Referrals for new students are greatly appreciated. For every new student that ends up booking and paying for a 1 hour session who is referred by a current student, that current student will be credited with 1 free session. For example, if a current student refers 3 of their friends who end up booking and paying for separate 1 hour sessions, that current student will receive 3 free 1 hour sessions.
